2025 Introduction to Beekeeping Course

The Chatham County Beekeepers Association and the Chatham County Center of N.C. Cooperative Extension will conduct an 8-week Introduction to Beekeeping course on Monday nights beginning January 13, 2025, at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center in Pittsboro, North Carolina. The primary audience for the school is beginner beekeepers, but others may join as a refresher.

We conduct these beekeeping courses to introduce others to the joys of beekeeping and to increase the number of skilled beekeepers in our region. Plan to join us and find out how fun and rewarding beekeeping can be! Our bee schools usually sell out, and we often have to turn people away. See the flyer for our 2025 course here.

The cost of the January 2025 Introduction to Beekeeping course will be $100 for an individual attendee. Additional attendees from the same household may register for $30 per person. Registration closes at midnight on December 31, 2024, and no refunds will be given for cancellations after December 31, 2024.
